I had never tried Borax for cleaning before(never even heard of it actually) and I'm so happy I got the opportunity to review it. It is a natural way of cleaning not only your laundry but other household stuff. My favorite way so far is cleaning the tub/shower with it, just pour a little on a wet sponge or towel and scrub, cleaned it so well.
What is Borax you may ask?
20 Mule Team Borax is 100% natural mineral from the earth. Once removed from the ground it is washed, dried, and boxed for costumers.
Borax is the common name for sodium tetraborate: a naturally occurring substance produced by the perpetual evaporation of seasonal lakes.
Absolutely nothing is added. No phosphates, chlorine, or other additive chemicals.
Cleaner clothes than detergent alone
To boost your detergent, simply add 1/2 cup of 20 Mule Team Borax to every load, along with your regular detergent:
You'll find that it:
Naturally softens hard water and improves your detergent's cleaning power.
Helps keep stains from being re-deposited back onto clothes.
Gentle enough for baby clothes as well. But it's not just for laundry it can always be used to clean; toilet bowls, garbage disposals & drains, carpets, dishwasher, counters, appliances, dishes, and shower/tub/tile.

Borax provided a free sample of their product so I could review them. However, all opinions expressed here are my own.
I would love to try this stuff, I remember my Mom using it when I was young.
